Recent News about Siloa Chapel

We are a church of about 30 members and there is a close and friendly community. On many occasions the congregation stays behind to take the opportunity to socialize over a cup of Fair Trade tea or coffee.

A Sunday School is held for the children during the school term and they contribute to the youth services held during the year:  St David’s Day, Harvest Festival and Christmas.

The chapel is well used by other organisations, such as Merched y Wawr who meet monthly, Friends R Us who support people who live with depression and their carers and also Cytgord Ladies Choir who meet every Thursday night.

In 2007 changes were made to the Vestry so as to create a kitchen and an additional room for the young people.

There is a new spirit and a new blessing in Siloa today and we look forward to continuing to bear witness in the Christian faith in the future
